Food Glorious Food

After a fabulous hotel breakfast Scott and I headed into the Old Town to check out tailors.  We visited three to get a feel for prices and styles and then ordered our clothes from Yaly Tailors and Oche tailors.  They measured us every which way including Scott having his photo taken topless.

Then a stop for an egg coffee for Scott and lemon water for me.

Emma and James stayed poolside at the hotel so we joined them there at lunchtime.  We had thought we would only be gone an hour but it was more like 2.5 by the time we were done.  A quick dip in the pool whilst James headed back to his Banh Mi lady to get our lunch.

After that we took the hotel shuttle to the beach and spent 2 hours lounging and swimming.

For dinner we headed to The Secret Garden on the recommendation of friends. This was a lovely restaurant and quite a step up from our usual restaurants.  We had spring rolls to start, Cao Lau for the others and Green papaya salad for me.  Delicious.

James and Emma then had dessert on the street from food carts. Nutella and banana crepe for James and Oreo rolled ice cream for Emma.
